Our team includes friendly animal lovers with experience handling animals in a commercial setting, who like solving problems and sharing tips to help each other learn.
You'll help people with animal concerns by safely capturing stray or wild animals, answering calls, and educating community members on how to avoid animal problems.
Respond to calls about stray, injured, or wild animals in the area.
Safely capture, transport, and relocate animals as needed.
Complete daily reports on activities and findings.
Educate the public about animal safety and prevention.
Work with a team to plan and follow up on cases.
Attend ongoing training and use new tools to improve your work.
Handle emergency situations calmly and follow set procedures.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license.
Comfortable working with animals and people in a variety of settings.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Able to stay organized and write clear reports.
Six months of verifiable work experience in the following: professional care and handling of animals, law enforcement, jailer, or relevant military experience.
